An
alternative
to OCR allowing to
recognize text on the SUT screen
based on the presaved collection of character images. This is a Robot
v3 standard feature which has been released in form of a plugin for

Console Message Command

scripting
language command called "Msg" which prints out the
argument message to the command prompt (Windows) or console
window(Linux/Unix). It is a ready-to-use feature documented as an
example in the Plugin Framework

Refresh Command

language command ("Refresh") which forces a full size
refresh of the VNC desktop. It may be used in test scripts where screen
refresh problems are experienced. See

TightVNC Encoding

The TightVNC encoding improves performance
of communication between T-Plan Robot and the VNC server. To take
advantage of this feature the automated VNC server must be either
TightVNC or another one supporting this encoding type. See the README.txt
inside the downloaded ZIP for details and install instructions.
