T-PLAN ROBOT ENTERPRISE PLUGINS

T-Plan Robot Enterprise plugins are optional pluggable features. They are provided for free to all our customers. We also provide customization services and develop on-demand plugins.

Feature Plugins

Feature plugins deliver new GUI and/or automation framework functionality such as scripting language commands, new image comparison methods etc. Each plugin can be simply installed through saving of its JAR file to the plugins/ subfolder in the T-Plan Robot Enterprise installation directory or through the Plugin Manager window.

Plugin Name And Version	Description
Image Based Text Recognition v0.7 (12 September 2011)	An alternative to OCR allowing to recognize text on the SUT screen based on the presaved collection of character images. This is a Robot v3 standard feature which has been released in form of a plugin for version 2. See the plugin page for details. Requires T-Plan Robot Enterprise 2.3.3 or higher.
Console Message Command v0.2 (12 September 2011)	A new scripting language command called "Msg" which prints out the argument message to the command prompt (Windows) or console window(Linux/Unix). It is a ready-to-use feature documented as an example in the Plugin Framework guide. See the README.txt inside the downloaded ZIP for details. Requires T-Plan Robot Enterprise 2 or higher.
Refresh Command v0.1 (21 September 2011)	A new scripting language command ("Refresh") which forces a full size refresh of the VNC desktop. It may be used in test scripts where screen refresh problems are experienced. See the README.txt inside the downloaded ZIP for details. Requires T-Plan Robot Enterprise 2 or higher.
TightVNC Encoding v0.1 (22 September 2011)	The TightVNC encoding improves performance of communication between T-Plan Robot and the VNC server. To take advantage of this feature the automated VNC server must be either TightVNC or another one supporting this encoding type. See the README.txt inside the downloaded ZIP for details and install instructions. Requires T-Plan Robot Enterprise 2.3 or higher.

Script Plugins

The script plugins deliver new functionality to T-Plan Robot Enterprise test scripts.

Plugin Name And Version	Description
SQL Database Plugin v1.0 (1 March 2013)	The SQL Database Plugin allows T-Plan Robot Enterprise test scripts to interact with SQL databases over the JDBC connection. See the plugin page for details. Requires T-Plan Robot Enterprise 3.2 or higher.
