Advantages of T-Plan Robot Enterprise

Unlike the open source product, T-Plan Robot Enterprise is:

  • Backed up by professional support. We provide help and troubleshooting through our forums and E-mail. If you hit a bug which is a show stopper for your efforts, we are able to implement a quick fix and get you a custom build in a very short time. We will also evaluate any feature requests and implement those which are well aligned with the product functionality and our resources.
  • More relaxed in license terms. Unlike the free GPL version there's no copyleft applied and Java test scripts and extensions do not have to be distributed under the same license.
  • Smarter and faster. The Record & Replay feature was improved to provide more reliable results in cases where mouse moves drive a GUI action, for example selection of an item from the system Start menu. The image search algorithm was updated to provide up to 55% better performance. This makes script execution faster and saves resources (computer time).
  • Richer in features. For Windows users there's a comfortable native installer to manage the application through the standard OS means. The product supports test scripts with structures common in the QA industry (test cases/scripts, test steps) and is able to export automated testing results to the XML format. The tool also provides XML test reports customizable through your own XML style sheet (XSL).
  • Integrated with T-Plan Professional 7.0. Those who already use or plan on using the T-Plan test management tools will appreciate ability to import script data from and to export test results to the T-Plan database. Read the T-Plan Robot Integration Reference for more.
